Anyer Beach
Anyer is located about 38 kilometers from Serang City which is the capital of the Banten Province in Indonesia not far from Jakarta. As Anyer is located along the coast, it is a beach town within the Banten province. The town faces the west where one would be able to enjoy the majestic view of the sunset as well as that of Mount Rakata. You could reach here from Jakarta with a 2 hours drive where upon reaching you could hear the sound of the slapping waves and the sea gulls and you have a relaxing weekend vacation at hand. The town is known historically as the point where the Dutch Governor General, Herman William Daendels started building the North Coast Road in 1808.
As one of the most natural beach resorts around, this is where tourists flock the beaches to enjoy all types of water sports like Jet Skiing, Para sailing and such. Apart from that, you could also head out to the old and classic lighthouse at Cikoneng where you could get a nicer view of the beach and its surroundings. Of course, you would also love the white sandy beaches here that seemed to be untouched while it is also a common diving destination.
